Right from the start I just felt really encouraged...

When Linda Hodgeson signed up for her first Walkactive™ course in January 2011, little did she know that her Walkactive™ journey with Joanna would help her lose up to 7 stone! Just a short walk to the shops left her short of breath and her doctor had advised her to get back in shape.

So now it's a whole different story for Linda - regularly walking up 5 floors at work without blinking and finishing 7km Walk Time Trials in a remarkable 48 minutes! Linda is now fit, toned, in good health and enjoys so much more energy.

She says, “Right from the start I just felt really encouraged as Joanna and all her trainers were so positive and enthusiastic. It took a while for the technique to sink in but once it did, it just felt like a really natural way to move. You can get into a rhythm which is really stress busting”.

Not being a natural athelete, Linda also signed up for Walk Time Trials in Hyde Park which meant that she walked between courses - and she even did a Walk Off Weight Intense course to brush up on her technique.”
