Alissa has been holding this free training group annually for 8 years.
It is for people who are training for charity walking events. Each year we start off doing a lap of Hyde and Kensington Park and then we build up the miles as the events get nearer. These walks are informal with us working out a route so that you can do as much or as little as you want.
The group is run by volunteers who are keen to help you prepare for the brilliant experience of walking for a charity event. As the group is very informal part of participation is to agree to assume risk of such exercise and further hold volunteers blameless and not responsible.
You do not need to contact us to book, a place on this group, just turn up at Hyde Park Tube Station, by the ticket barriers at 9.30 am. First session will be on the third Sunday of January and will run until April. There is no fee for this training, we just want to help you complete your event and raise as much money as you can.
