really did cover everyone's situation
from being a teenager right through to

thing could have been to focus on people
with low / high income as well as its
not always easy to eat as healthily on
a low income.
I also like the fact that you address

"Drop a Size For
Life". It was a fascinating
read and I now realise
many areas where I have
been going wrong over
the years. I have a lot
of faith in your regime
as I have already lost
nearly two stones on your
Summer Stunner plan for
the This Morning programme.
My husband has also lost
weight following this
plan. Since stopping the
plan we have both managed
to maintain our lower
weights and are now looking
forward to the next step
- to lose more weight
by following the advice
and recipes in your book.
I had not realised that
conducting a carb curfew ® would make such a difference
and we will definately
follow this advice from
now on.
The book has explained
clearly many aspects of
dieting which I had not
fully understood before.
Section Two in particular
gives some facts and figures
and tips which I am sure
will be very helpful to
guide previous failures
on the right path for
success.
In common with so many
I have been on many diets
over the years and joined
various slimming clubs
with the usual outcome
in that I lost weight
but did not learn any
new skills as to how to
maintain the weight and
nor did I learn how to
love myself and overcome
my lack of confidence.
Your book shows that far
from being abnormal, this
is how a lot of people
are and will certainly
be of help to turn their
lives around and if they
also lose weight that
is all to the good!
I liked your sections
on improving self-esteem
as this has also been
a major problem I have
had following various
major setbacks in my life.
It is certainly true that
at these times I was very
susceptible to comfort
eating and trying to hide
my unhappiness through
drinking. Fortunately
not to harmful extents,
but enough to pile on
the weight. This stopped
some years ago, but I
now have to get back to
where I want to be! With
your help, I will do this.
Your book is full of very
practical and sensible
advice and will certainly
help many people, me included,
to achieve our goals.

Happy New Year
I have nearly finished
the book and have already
started to implement some
of the ideas. The big
thing for me was realising
that every little counts
I have always taken the
attitude that if I can't
follow a diet and exercise
3 times a week I might
as well not carry on so
every time I had a blip
I would just give up.
This book has got so many
ideas for little changes
that could make a big
difference. The first
section is great, diets
don't normally set about
retraining your thinking.
I am 5 days into the carb
curfew which I have read
and heard before but always
resisted as I cook for
a family or 5 including
3 young children and husband
who is a fussy eater and
a night worker. I don't
want to go down the route
of cooking different meals
as I think this sends
an unhealthy message to
the children(as well as
well being a hassle).
I feel very motivated
by this book to finally
tackle the weight problem
that I have fought for
as long as I remember
with a very do-able and
realistic plan. wish me
luck! and thanks again
for the wonderful chance
to try this.
P.S. my husband bought
me the DVD for Christmas
and I have been doing
it and definitely feel
better.
The book and DVD are definite
winners in my opinion
