Walking is the foundation of all my activity. You can lose up to 10lbs and 10 inches in body mass in under a month and increase your fitness and stamina, using my unique technique. Read on to find out more!
Movement Philosophy:
Movement is so important, in so many ways. It can be anti ageing, improve posture, take years off the way you look and feel and is key to managing weight.
Most people interpret achieving their goals through movement as having to find time to undertake a vigorous form of exercise, for one hour, 3 times a week. They start regimes like this with great intentions but skip a session here and there as day to day life constraints from family and work, to having a social life, take priority. Before they know it, the regime is broken, they return to bad habits and are left feeling like they’ve failed.
Sound familiar?
The good news is that you DON'T have approach movement in this way to see significant results. There IS a way to integrate movement into your lifestyle at your OWN pace and convenience and you CAN do this successfully, for life.
I have become so passionate about walking as a fundamental form of exercise that I have developed my very own walking technique that anyone can adopt to benefit from the significant body and health improvements achievable.

Whether you want to tone, streamline, manage your weight, improve your fitness, shape change or improve your posture – it all starts with your technique and how your body moves.
Adjusting how your body moves not only has an immediate benefit to how you look, but can reduce pressure on joints, improve your muscle (when recruited effectively) and most exciting of all, you can get better results in less time!
Walking is something that you can do at any age, any phase or any stage of your life and is easily integrated into your daily routine so you’re much more likely to enjoy it and do it regularly. It can work for anyone, whether you’re looking for vigorous exercise or a more gentle pace.
Most of us have been fortunate enough to walk from a very early age and take it for granted. We barely think about how we are walking or how we could make each step count towards greater fitness and health. Instead, our legs are our ‘wheels’ taking us from A to B.
Once you've mastered walking 'the Joanna way' the results you'll see will really spur you on and you’ll think and feel so much differently about your body. In under a month, clients have lost up to 10llbs and 10 inches in body mass by using my walking technique correctly.
